Farewell Tea Party
After hearing the sad news that our teacher Mrs Davies was leaving at Christmas we decided to have a surprise party for her. Knowing her favourite drink is a cup of tea we decide to have a tea party. We were really good at keeping it a surprise from her. After sending her out the room on the morning we made paper chains to hang and blew lots of balloons up and hung them across the classroom.
In the afternoon we helped Miss Marshall set the tables with cups and saucers, cakes and biscuits and napkins.
When we sent for her we all jumped out to surprise her and gave her a big hug.
We played pass the parcel before we sat down to have afternoon tea. We drank so much tea!!!!!! The cakes were delicious as well. Mrs Doutre and Mrs Fisher looked after us by serving us our tea. We all had a great afternoon and Mrs Davies really enjoyed it. At the end we gave her a framed photo of us all so she wouldn't forget us.
We will all miss you so much Mrs Davies and will never forget you. We hope you enjoy your new class and hopefully we can link our class blogs.
